Tuesday, March 22nd.
Then, it feels like we are back to reality. I must say that my Spring break still went pretty well despite that I was thinking so much about school work and had to do so much of it. This is the time to get back in the flow of doing more work, which equates to more stress, but it should be something I can handle.
April will be the last month of this semester, so I know I need to push through!
I also got to speak to my advisor about next semester's classes, since I had a switch in major. I'm really happy that I had the talk, it eases some stress that I had previously about fall semester classes. ^^
My Birthday also went great with hanging out with friends and having a bonfire. Probably one of the best ever since I had a good time, a good laugh, and wasn't spending it alone. I will have all of it in a vlog next week! Please subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven't already ♡
So, how was your Spring break?
Sunday, March 13th.
Thank you school for giving me this week off for Spring break! But, I am not ready to go back to doing so much work since i know that this month and next month will be really busy with school work. So, what I'm trying to do is get a lot of school work done while I'm on break and also have time to relax and have fun.
My week has already started out great with being in a performance with my dance team. It's not any ordinary performance because this one is where i get a chance to see other high schools around my area perform and see the people from my high school again. The performance was great and we all got many cheers. I definitely missed all of them and they were also extremely excited to see me. I have it in a vlog, so I hope to upload that by the end of next week. I will also vlog all week for anything fun I have planned.
Before the performance my team and I went to have I-hop for breakfast, and after the performance we went to eat pho. It just felt like a great bonding moment with lots of laughs and fun. After that, we went thrifting and shopping before going home. Really looking forward to more times like this.
That's all for now, Birthday is on the 18th but nothing planned just yet. So how are you going to spend your Spring break?
Monday, March 7th.
Time is limited, and that is to all of us. Normally, we don't want to sit around for too long and waste time, but we don't want to have the opposite where we overwhelm ourselves so much that we don't have the time to relax.
I'm not a master of time, and as a college student that is what I try to work at. I know that I don't always have the motivation to be active when I have more free time or find free time when I'm overwhelmed.
I'm constantly balancing school, work, YouTube, and all other things. And, I'm not the only one. This is the time when it feels like there isn't enough 'time'. It's not the feeling that it is going to fast, but the feeling that there isn't enough of it.
There really is only one way to manage time well, and that is to schedule. I schedule and try to give myself some time to do the tasks that need to be done. I don't try to over estimate how much I do, and I try to keep motivated to perform those tasks.
I like writing things down with my planner and a pen to help me remember what I need to do. And, I really don't always get everything done because it does get difficult at times when you feel like you are over-working yourself.
Another downside to scheduling is... prioritizing. I often feel like some tasks have the same priority and that makes it difficult to figure out what I want to do first, and of course with my own self-interest I do the easier task first. The second downside about prioritizing is that, there are times where you may make people feel as though they are not as important as your work and studies. I know that some people may understand, but even I will feel a little bad if I was turned down by someone who said that some other task is more important than being with me for at least 15mins. That doesn't mean that I will blame them, but I understand when others may feel like I'm "too busy" for them. The truth is that, I probably am at the time being. Trust me, If I can schedule a time to see a friend in my calendar then I will, and take opportunities when I see them.
Sucks having so many responsibilities, right?
Well, the choice is always mine and I know it. It may not even get easier from here. Time managing is difficult when there is so much to do in such little time. But, it is something to become good at. And I'm working on it, I'm working on that balance of time.
