Sunday, January 17th. I have finally downloaded FCPX! I actually downloaded it on Tuesday and have been playing around with it every chance I can. So far I have edited 2 videos on FCPX but of course there still needs to be improvements. Hopefully I can have one of the videos up by next week! I have been looking up tons and tons of tutorials to learn new things about FCPX. If you have used it before, please give me any TIPS you have for editing!
So, I had difficulty downloading it at first. I actually bought 6, $50 iTunes gift cards to be able to purchase FCPX. The lady at the counter must've thought I was crazy. FCPX was $300 and I did have to save to be able to get it. I actually never purchased something so expensive with my own money before, usually my parents help to pitch in with a purchase that large. But, this is just an add-on type of thing so I wouldn't want to bother them to get it for me.
Okay so back to trying to download this thing. (Why am I going on a tangent?) Well as I redeem the gift cards on iTunes I was afraid that it wouldn't work on the app store. When I clicked to purchase it asked me to review my information in which my debit card information was on there. I was afraid that they would charge my debit card instead! Then when I went to purchase it said that I needed to call support to be able to download.
I couldn't just sit there and wait any longer so I called support. (First I tried to set up a chat instead, but they never responded.) A kind lady answered when I called and she told me that the purchase was so large that I had to call to confirm and I also made sure that it charged my gift cards and NOT my debit card. 
As you can see, it all worked out at the end, so I'm happy. I'm trying to improve my videos day by day. If you haven't subscribed to my YouTube channel yet, the link is on the first page of my blog. Enjoy my videos! ^^
