THE CLASSICS OF DW~
Classic timepieces have this symbol of love attached to them. Most watches are not seen when worn, but once someone wears a classic timepiece, it catches a couple stares. People have came to ask me, "what is that watch?" and it just gets me excited to tell them where I got it from and also *nudge *nudge...give them a promo for the watch. Daniel Wellington is definitely not the only ones that sell classic timepieces nor is it the most inexpensive, but the story behind DW classics make you want to buy one for a dear friend.
THE STORY BEHIND DW:
I love that they include a small story behind how DW brand came about with every watch sold, because I think it's inspiring. The story sums up to being inspired by a friend's style to start a company under that friend's name. This is why I wondered who Daniel Wellington was and how this company was able to profit so much off of a simple idea. The founder of DW met an amazing guy from the British Isles who had a great sense of style and who wore a classic timeless watch that inspired the founder to create Daniel Wellington under the gentleman's name. In the end they because best friends and the company blew up. As long as this story is passed on, it gives this watch a meaning to just looking at time. I guess this is why I'm intrigued.
The story is also perfect to tell on a Valentine's day because love from a friendship has a big impact on one's life. That's how much friendship impacted the founder's life. The watch creates a symbol of love, friendship, kindness, and inspiration.
CLASSIC BLACK: CORNWALL
I chose this watch because the gold outlining the black just looks great and stands out as well. I picked this particular strap because I find that it looks better in photos than the leather strap and also because you don't see many watches with cloth straps like this one. The straps add chunkiness to the entire look.
DW also gave me this heart charm for Valentine's Day and this simple detail just adds beauty to the whole watch. I love it! Also another pro to the watch is that it's simple to use and has a lot of adjustments to fit every wrist. ♡♡♡

Trust me, I didn't think I would climb up there either. Even though I've climbed the lower falls of Yosemite, I felt this nervousness after climbing this large rock wall near the ocean. Maybe it has to do with the fact that it's near a vast ocean of unknown. I felt my heart thumping as I stood high up there trying to pose for a photo, it was that feeling of going up on a roller coaster. There was wind blowing and it felt like I could fall at any moment, so I didn't realize that I had this mini fear of heights.
I guess moral of my story is that there are things we must be brave to go for and overcome as cheesy as that may sound. I'm starting school now and that is the CLIFF that I must overcome. Let's wish each other luck and pray to the clouds that you can get back down in one piece. ♡♡♡
For outfit details, I realize that every outfit always has a piece that is thrifted.

I also blended in with the sky that day for wearing so much baby blue. xD
BB Cosmetic was kind enough again to send me a couple products to review. I chose these two products because 1) I've been loving Tony Moly masks and trying out new masks and 2) I needed a new cleanser! There will be more pros to these two products then cons, and thanks to BB Cosmetic for their generosity. ♡♡♡
There's nothing bad to say about these masks from Tony Moly. BB Cosmetic sent me a pack of 11, 1 in which I tried already. I previously bought a couple of the Tony Moly masks, one moisturizing and one brightening and I loved both of them. The one I tried out of this set was the pore cleansing, and although I don't see a big difference in minimizing my pores, the masks were definitely moisturizing! I can't judge the masks after only using them a couple of times to look for results, because like any product it takes a while to see results.
This set had a variety of skin clearing masks, brightening masks, vitality masks, etc.. Personally after using them, I find that they are all moisturizing, fits my face well, and not too thick of a mask. Have you ever bought a face mask that just feels too thick and heavy while you have it on? Yeah, that's what I dislike the most! I also don't like masks that come with the plastic cover that you need to take off before putting the mask on, who else is with me on that?
There are no bad effects or really any cons to the Tony Moly masks, and I will absolutely purchase them again when I run out...which one be anytime soon since I have so many!
The second product I received was The Face Shop's Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam. Since there were many good reviews on this product, I thought I would give it a try. Pros are that it was cleaning and did foam really well just like any other foam cleanser would and leaves your skin feeling really elastic afterwards.
What I normally do is cleanse my face at night and in the shower, but with this product is better used during the evening when you want to take off your makeup and not in the shower. I find that it leaves my face really elastic like some cleansers would and I don't like that feeling while in the shower as I want my face to feel soft after using a makeup remover/ cleanser. I guess that would be the con of the product. Also it can't be used around the eyes or else it will hurt because it's some strong cleanser and not made for removing eye makeup. The rest of my makeup it actually removed pretty well.
I do recommend this product as a basic cleanser used with a Konjac sponge and even one to be used in the morning, but if you want to find something that removes all your makeup, then this cleanser is not the one you're looking for. I also like this for it's brightening properties so I will continue to use this all up since it's a nice texture, smells nice, and foaming on the face, but I will use this in the morning rather then at night.
If you want to check out the two products on BB Cosmetic's website, go ahead and click on the PHOTOS above! I know it's also been a while since I've posted, but I'm trying to post more often so that I don't lose my writing skills in which I don't use at school. Thank you for reading and comment if you like ^^

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I really should find a way to blog just a little more, I'm so bad at this. Maybe if it was my career...but that's a far thought. I want to reflect on my year, so I uploaded a year in review video on my YOUTUBE. I want to say that the year definitely had it's ups and downs and lots of times where I just wanted to give up because of my lack of motivation. But, it did have it's good moments The moments with friends, family, the adventure, the love, the food, and everything else is what made it special! Thank you for following along this journey and more adventures lie in the future ahead <3
Here is my year in review ↑
Also for beauty/fashion related things, below ⇣is my VINTAGE Look Book from my trip to SoCal~ Enjoy and have a Happy New Year!
I want to thank bbcosmetic.com for both of these AprilSkin products in which I love so much! Here is my mini review of both of them. I received the Pinky Piggy Carbonated mask Pack and also the April Skin Cushion White.
It got to me in about a week and it was really nice to email back and forth, so the service was great! I also didn't know which items to choose but I'm glad I chose these two based off of the review on the site.
It was in a nice pink bag with a box which I thought was so nice and the items were packaged well where they wont leak or any of that bad stuff.
As you can see from the packaging above, both the products look really nice on the outside, and I can't really say much about this part since you can see it.
Let's move onto how I feel about both of these...
I first tried the Carbonated Mask Pack and let me tell you that it is just AMAZING! It's actually my first time trying a bubbly mask and it is so cute. I love the smell of it and that it's pink. It goes on nice and smooth. I leave it on for about 15 minutes, and within that time the masks starts bubbling up and gets foamy. It's also tingly and you can hear it carbonating which is the best part! It makes me want to use it every day because of that aspect of it making the foamy carbonating sound. Once the carbonating sound slows down and your face is all foamed up by these stuff is when you rinse it out.
OK, so I don't have an image of me rinsing it out but let me tell you that it can come off in pieces and really nicely as if you can just peel it off, how cool is that! Okay, I know I was given these products by the company, but I chose these AprilSkin products myself based on the reviews and this one really impressed me! I'm going to start trying other bubbly masks now!
Next is the Snow Cushion in White, shade #22 Pink Beige, and I didn't have high expectations for this even though it had great reviews and here's why: I have tried the April Skin UV Cushion and their Cushion In Pink but both of them were just eh. The UV Cushion is basically just that. It's like a sunscreen that gives you a little dewy look. The Pink BB Cushion has too light of a coverage for me, it really doesn't cover at all. But, I am glad that I gave this one a try because it's really worth it! Especially if you purchase these items on bbcosmetic.com because you won't handle all the heavy shipping fees on the actual April Skin site. I remember first hearing about April Skin and tried to purchase something on their site, realizing that I really want these products but the shipping is a lot more expensive than the products itself!
OKAY on to this cushion... I like it because the coverage is great. I wouldn't say it's dewy...more like a matte finish, but it doesn't leave your skin looking too dry. My skin have became more dry lately so I can't use really matte products on my skin and usually opt for dewy finishes. This cushion is great though because it doesn't leave my skin looking cracked and has a good coverage! I really recommend this one and I might even try the black version of this cushion also because I heard they're both great!
I want to say thank you bbcosmetic.com again because I love both the products!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE use my coupon code upon purchasing (H6AUTI22797) && it will give you 8% discount off your order ^^.
Here are the LINKS to the two items I received:
Have you checked out my NEW fall look?
So I need to update with more makeup tutorials, what do you guys think? I've created here a more simple fall look with a talk through. I don't often make talk-throughs, but I thought it would just change it up a little than just having a step by step look. Please give me any requests on makeup looks you would like me to do^^. I want to start making more tutorials again whether it is hair or makeup~
This makeup look features circle lenses that I received from PinkyParadise.com which you can check out in the description of the video, and I am in love with G&G lenses. Seriously...I want to get every color of every line they have!
I also can't wait to received makeup and skincare products that I ordered to give a review for you guys, so stay tuned for that!
Thanks for all the support! xoxo
Yeah...troubles that most people get. If you don't have that summer body, it's hard to think of items of clothing to wear. Weight gain means "I don't feel comfortable in this...I don't look good in that" etc. This also means saying GOODBYE to two piece bikinis, tight dresses, short shorts, off the shoulder tops etc. I would talk about what I feel like about my weight gain, but I'll save that for another time on my LIFESTYLE tab.
Three steps to summer style while having gain weight, or three questions that many might ask: How do I cover it up? What will look good? && How do I make it look good?
How Do I Cover it Up?
This one is hard for me, because I'm guilty of "covering up" also. Truth is that people don't care about your "chubbiness" as much as you care about it. It's a fact because no matter how much I say I feel like I've gained a lot of weight, my friends either say "stop it, you are not chubby" or "I can't even tell" Whether they are telling the truth or not, just understand that others don't care or mind the weight you put on. Even to me, it's a SELF IMAGE type of thing. So when you think of just wearing a t-shirt during the summer because you don't feel comfortable in anything else then vamp it up and wear high waisted shorts with it! If you want to wear that tight fitting dress then wear it, everyone has a tummy that will show! I guess trying to not cover it up comes with a little more confidence each time you show a little more.
What Will Look Good?
This is a very opinionated question and the answer is just: depends on the perspective of the one asking the question. The answer could be anything looks good, whatever you feel comfortable in looks good, etc. I guess this can differ from person to person.
What I CAN answer is what I feel looks good on once I gained weight and what I think looks good on others that think they've gained weight. Let me just make a short list:
-Any oversized clothing
-High waisted pants/shorts
-Flowy dresses/ babydoll style dresses
-ROMPERS/ JUMPSUITS <-- this one is my ultimate fav for the season so you must've seen me wear them very often
-Button ups/ bell sleeved tops
-&& MUCH MUCH MORE!
Remember that this is just a short list, tbh you can wear anything that you feel the best in. Confidence is what makes a person look good! ♡
How Do I Make It Look Good?
I'm just going to give a short answer for this one.
Make it YOUR OWN! Whatever you want to wear just rock it and style it to your personality whether you love prints, neutrals, or pastels, just make the clothing your own. I take inspiration and turn it into something I would love or something that fits my personality and that's how the pieces you wear will look good!
I've included some photos of what I've been wearing lately from my weight gain. OK...maybe you can't tell, but I've gained 20lbs from last year and it hasn't been making me feel all that great. The only thing to do now is rock what I feel the most confident wearing and work to lose that weight I've put on!
Have you heard of Depop yet? I finally opened my own little shop to sell all my unwanted clothes. I just have so much in my closet that I need to throw out, but there are a ton of items that I don't want to see thrown away, so I've decided to sell them!
I really enjoy that Depop makes it easy for me to sell and buy. It's like an Instagram layout, but you can buy the items! So it's not just for sellers but also for those who want to buy vintage items, or new clothes for a low price.
I tried to lower the price as much as I can. I have a little post with all the rules, but basically I will lower the price for you, make bundles to lower the shipping, and I'm also willing to SWAP items^^
I don't have many people checking out my shop yet, so I would appreciate it so much if you would share my shop with your friends and maybe they can check out my items to see if they want anything. I'll be selling items such as clothing, accessories, skincare items, etc.
I don't just want to make a little bit of money off of it, because my profit is not much since I lowered the shipping fee and Depop takes 10% commission, but I also want to DECLUTTER my room. I want the items gone, so of course I'm willing to make deals if you really liked an item and consider to purchase it~
I thank you so much if you've checked it out already, and I'm sorry for my international readers who aren't able to purchase from my Depop, if you are willing to pay the extra money for shipping than we can definitely figure something out ♡
HAPPY SHOPPING ♡
ACTUALLY as you see I was never really a florals type of person. Maybe my style just changes from season to season. As I've gained weight I thought it would be better to find clothes more flattering to my shape. What better for the summer than summer DRESSES since I can't wear sweaters in this weather.
The first piece of clothing that I've been love love loving is rompers. I didn't wear them a lot before because it was a hassle trying to get them off in the restroom! And I really had to find the right fabric for it to look nice. SO, I found this floral piece from the clearance section of WetSeal and I really wish they had more colors because I'm in love with the neck tie. I loved this piece so much that I went online to hunt for more summer clothes as I really needed some. I tried looking for soft fabrics, pieces that are light, dresses, rompers, bell sleeved shirts, babydoll dresses, and tie/choker neck. THAT my friends, is what my style has consisted of lately.
Change of style?
Even my friends tell me that my styles change from season to season. I remember when last summer I was just all about crop tops! I had one friend telling me that my style has became more girly with a soft touch to it. And, maybe it has. I get it usually from what I get inspired by. The styles that the models wear from Style Nanda or Mixxmix.com has been my type of style lately.
HERE is some pieces I picked out from YesStyle just recently, and I'm so excited for them to arrive. I might even be purchasing more soon as I think I'm in love with these items of clothing and these styles:
ALSO I know I apologize that I didn't say much about florals or even styled them at all. But maybe I will in another post? I'm trying to get into florals at the moment, but I never liked bright colors. I would love to have pieces that are pastel florals, any recommendations on pieces or websites I should check out?~
Am I guilty of mixing colors in my outfit that doesn't go together? Always!
I don't ever think that there is a right or wrong way to mix colors in an outfit because it tells a lot about your personal style. I remember when I was younger and mixed pink, hot pink, and red all in one outfit (such a big no no). Of course at a young age, I didn't know what "fashion" was or what colors go together. I would basically wear bright colors all the time, and would often wear ones that normally aren't appealing to others.
There was also a time where color-blocking was in. Color blocking is wearing muted colors with accent colors like orange, yellow, or red. I did that for quite some time also. I guess my style really changes through time, just how fashion also changes.
My color scheme now can be based on my mood. Most of my clothes have muted colors of grey, white, black, and blue. For more comfortable days I like to wear colors that are more on the pastel/soft side. This explains why most of my sweaters are beige or other pastel colors. On days where I dance or have dance practice then I would wear black or grey since they are more strong colors. On other days where I feel a little bit more confident, I wear a vintage color scheme of browns and greens. Those are also the days where I mix up different textures and styles to try out something a little bit more different. But, now is the time that you can mix up any colors to wear and express yourself. You can also find inspiration of wearing certain colors and certain styles. Have fun styling and remember to play with textures as well as colors! ♡
