Yeah...troubles that most people get. If you don't have that summer body, it's hard to think of items of clothing to wear. Weight gain means "I don't feel comfortable in this...I don't look good in that" etc. This also means saying GOODBYE to two piece bikinis, tight dresses, short shorts, off the shoulder tops etc. I would talk about what I feel like about my weight gain, but I'll save that for another time on my LIFESTYLE tab. Three steps to summer style while having gain weight, or three questions that many might ask: How do I cover it up? What will look good? && How do I make it look good? How Do I Cover it Up? This one is hard for me, because I'm guilty of "covering up" also. Truth is that people don't care about your "chubbiness" as much as you care about it. It's a fact because no matter how much I say I feel like I've gained a lot of weight, my friends either say "stop it, you are not chubby" or "I can't even tell" Whether they are telling the truth or not, just understand that others don't care or mind the weight you put on. Even to me, it's a SELF IMAGE type of thing. So when you think of just wearing a t-shirt during the summer because you don't feel comfortable in anything else then vamp it up and wear high waisted shorts with it! If you want to wear that tight fitting dress then wear it, everyone has a tummy that will show! I guess trying to not cover it up comes with a little more confidence each time you show a little more. What Will Look Good? This is a very opinionated question and the answer is just: depends on the perspective of the one asking the question. The answer could be anything looks good, whatever you feel comfortable in looks good, etc. I guess this can differ from person to person. What I CAN answer is what I feel looks good on once I gained weight and what I think looks good on others that think they've gained weight. Let me just make a short list: -Any oversized clothing -High waisted pants/shorts -stripes -Flowy dresses/ babydoll style dresses -ROMPERS/ JUMPSUITS <-- this one is my ultimate fav for the season so you must've seen me wear them very often -Button ups/ bell sleeved tops -&& MUCH MUCH MORE! Remember that this is just a short list, tbh you can wear anything that you feel the best in. Confidence is what makes a person look good! ♡ How Do I Make It Look Good? I'm just going to give a short answer for this one. Make it YOUR OWN! Whatever you want to wear just rock it and style it to your personality whether you love prints, neutrals, or pastels, just make the clothing your own. I take inspiration and turn it into something I would love or something that fits my personality and that's how the pieces you wear will look good! I've included some photos of what I've been wearing lately from my weight gain. OK...maybe you can't tell, but I've gained 20lbs from last year and it hasn't been making me feel all that great. The only thing to do now is rock what I feel the most confident wearing and work to lose that weight I've put on!
