Since many people have been here already, then I must give it a review! The last time I visited LA, I meant to come here to try out their Egg Slut or one of their burgers, but I just hadn't gotten a chance to. When my friend had went to LA, she recommended that I should try it out when I go back so that's what I did! Eggslut is located within LA's Grand Central Market. I previously didn't know the location so when I found that it was there I was excited because the whole place is filled with yummy food! Grand Central Market has a bakery, Thai food, Mexican food, fresh produce, and much more! If you want to be in a food coma then just come here. Most of the stands inside Grand Central open quite early. At Egg Slut I got a slut and my love on the other hand, got a cheeseburger. Or at least if I remember correctly, that's what it was. The slut is a cage free coddled egg with a potato puree. I must say that it tasted good, but not mind blowing good. I just found that the potato puree really wasn't anything special and that I probably preferred it more if it was grits inside instead. My man's burger was amazing though. I only had a bite but I can taste the juiciness of the bun and the eggs go really well with the beef patty. Even at a glance you can see how nice the bun might taste. I was never a fan of burger buns that are more chewy or more crunchy, but this bun had the right amount of "squish" let's just say. The downside to the bun is that I find it too thick and I want to get to the good stuff faster rather than chewing on a starchy carb, but that really is my own preference. Maybe I should start rating places that I review. Okay out of 10 I would give it a 8.6. I rate out of 10 because 5 is just such a small number. The atmosphere of this place gives it the 0.6 points and the customer service was good too. We easily found a spot to sit and we also got to watch them cook. I think the only problem is that it's hard to find parking near Grand Central Market and also because the food didn't blow me away as much as I wanted to. Nonetheless, this place is on my recommended list!
