I also think that the white style is an aesthetic to look at and does feel clean. I came across a Japanese restaurant that went for a white theme instead of the classic Japanese layout of a restaurant. I thought it was different and very appealing. The restaurant feels brighter and a happier environment to eat in. It restaurant gives a feeling of cleanliness. The same goes for those that wear the color white or have a white themed room, they are assumed to be more clean, organized and professional type of person.
I'm not saying that white looks good all the time. My mom has always told me "Never buy items that are white because they get dirty". That is the fact, so white has a ton of upkeep that needs to be done. White is sometimes an unflattering color to be worn. If the material isn't correct, if the person looks like a ghost, or even if the white pieces don't go together, then the white color shouldn't be worn. White also adds weight. Black is the color that makes people look flattering, and although I own a ton of white I don't wear it often because some of the items seem unflattering when worn. White is a color that makes people seem more heavy set than they are. There has to be a balance of colors and fabrics for the white to be appealing. Who knew that white was such a technical color.
White is a harmless and pure color. Society views it as the modern color, and it's the color of our future. The color may seem like a facade of aesthetics, but the white color theme is an art, just like the other color trends of the century.
Here are appealing white colored bedrooms with a hint of a soft color. It's hard for me to say "no I don't want a room with these colors".
