Although this trend may seem silly and fun, it is body shaming to other people. I have to admit that I have tried out this challenge. It looks interesting as any challenge is. I can balance coins on my collarbone but only some and not over 20 like the girl above. What does that mean then? I'm 106lbs and 5ft. I'm average weight for my height, but still cannot do this challenge like the girl above can. At first I did feel bad that maybe my figure was not good enough, but everyone is different. It doesn't matter how fit you are or how much you weigh, you can still have the ability to do the challenge just like this girl.
Not everyone has an open mind. The people who created this challenge never spread the word that this wasn't meant to make people feel bad. I'm not here to say that these challenges are good or bad, because they are fun to try. I'm here to help change the minds of people that feel bad because of this. Not everyone that attempts this challenge is trying to hurt someone else's feelings. It does make the people that can't do this challenge feel incapable. There is no doubt that challenges like this one is body shaming.
Look this guy can do the belly button challenge. These challenges can depend on ability. Or maybe, how long your arms are.
